The Hillview is a luxurious condominium complex in the hills of Los Angeles. The original structure was built in 1921 as an Asian-inspired hotel, and acted as a temporary home to many of Hollywood’s most famous stars. When Rodolfo Property Management bought the building in 1961, the first change was transforming a 75-room hotel into a 15-unit complex, which meant that every unit would have an entire floor to itself. The building has undergone many more refurbishments throughout the years, culminating in a huge revamp in 2005. The Hillview epitomizes the delicate balance between old and new – the site retains the original façade and breezeways, but the interior of each unit is the ultimate in modernity. Each unit in the Hillview complex has a brand new kitchen with stainless steel appliances, marble countertops, and silent appliances. The living areas follow a grand double-parlour model, ideal for entertaining. Each unit has one full bath for each bedroom, and at least one bath in each unit has a Jacuzzi tub. The complex has two swimming pools (one is a recreation of the original swimming pool on the roof!).
